The Louisville Home Garden and Remodeling Show is February 28th through March 2nd. Sign up below to work a shift!
Have an idea for our booth display?
Info added 2-24-25
We will be in the South Wing C, booth 1152.
The exhibitor’s kit will be available at the show, should you need to reference it. Please look at pages 6-8 regarding security. It was also sent via email to all MG volunteers by Mary.
The booth setup will be a bit different this year. The setup is meant to engage with attendees, so you may want to make yourselves familiar with the materials and techniques. Here are some of the features:
Hands-on activity of planting a sunflower seed for kids, and a ‘Life cycle of the sunflower’ drawn by MG Betsy Burgin
Winter Sowing Display
Do’s and Don’ts for proper mulching and why ‘Volcano Mulching’ is deadly for trees.
Upcoming Events for JCMGA
How to sign up for the next MG Training class QR Code- this is the ONLY way we keep track of potential trainees now!
Promotional Materials for Paristown Event
Pineal Station – Co-Marketing initiative. We will be showcasing a Pineal Station, outfitted with seeds, herbs, and produce to illustrate our collaboration, promote the raffle at Paristown, and add beauty and interaction to our booth. These items are NOT to be given away. Just talk it up!
Tip Table Materials, as per usual. Meant to be used to allow folks to take pictures of QR codes and pages.
Demographic collection sheet – please do your best to keep track of the people you talk with. I realize this can be hard to do.
Follow up – There will be a legal pad in the Tip Table materials if there are messages to pass along, suggestions for future booth materials, etc.
Parking Passes and Ticket availability: Please pick up your parking pass and tickets at one of these opportunities:
At the MG training class on Wednesday Evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at The Extension Office Classroom
On my covered porch anytime on Thursday or Friday. There will be an envelope with your name on it. Depending on how many parking passes are allowed to me, you might want to plan on carpooling or purchasing your own parking pass. If you do end up buying a parking pass, please get a receipt and seek reimbursement from one of the treasurers.
In the past, many people have organized to meet across from the entrance at one of the hotels and carpooled from there. I’ll leave it to you to be frugal about this.
