Come join your fellow master gardeners on a tour of the Moss Gibbs Woodland Garden in Broad Run Park. Tyler Hampton will speak about the Moss Gibbs Woodland Garden at the Parklands at the July 2 JCMGA meeting. Tyler will lead us on a tour as a follow-up to his talk so we can see how the principles of permaculture were used to design the garden as we walk.

Our responsibilities during the Kilgore tour will be much simplified this year.

There is to be only 1 Master Gardener at each Garden Site during each shift.

From Vine to Wine Field trip!!

Experience Kentucky’s wine culture from the vine to the bottle. If you are a wine lover, don’t miss this date! 

Please join us for a tour of Joe Soloman’s wine farm, located in bucolic Shelbyville, Ky.  This will count towards your CEU hours. The event includes a review of his vineyard grapes, his winemaking process, and a tasting on his patio. 

There is a limit of 30 master gardeners, no plus ones.  Please, please consider carpooling.

Date: Thursday, June 6, 2024    Time: 4-6 pm      Rain cancels the tour.
