Jefferson County Master Gardeners are leading some of the gardening programs at Farmington.
This class will briefly describe the nature of a pollinator garden, why they are important, and why we humans are important to the health and sustainability of pollinators. At this time in the gardening season, we have planted our pollinator and wildlife gardens. The gardens have been growing for a couple of months or more. We will tour pollinator gardens at Farmington and discuss what care they need and other growing tips for late summer ornamental gardens.
No Fee, open to all ages.
Meet in the Outdoor Gardening Education Center by the information Kiosk. You can see the kiosk by looking down the sidewalk through the Halderman Garden.
