The How-To Fest is back for the 11th year! This free, interactive learning extravaganza features more than 50 “how-to” sessions taught by local experts. Learn to design games, grow bananas and mushrooms, make a candle, sing in harmony, and so much more.
Master Gardeners will be giving several talks & helping to staff the Urban Ag Coalition tent. Come ask your questions and have a great time learning SO MUCH! Location is the Main Library branch..

Now is the time to plant seeds for annual flowers that pollinators adore! We’ll also discuss perennial plants that can be sourced through local stores, farmers’ markets, and private growers. Pollinators need nectar and pollen producing plants and host plants. We’ll help you understand the differences.
Please join MG Terry as he shares his wealth of knowledge about growing tomatoes. He is an experienced grower using both containers & in ground. Having problems with yours? Ask his advice!
Mary Wheatley, Chef, Master Gardener, and long-time herb grower will cover the basics of perennial and annual herbs including thyme, rosemary, chives, edible flowers, basil, cilantro, dill, and more. Join us at this Louisville Nature Center class to explore the best ways to plant, prune, and utilize fresh herbs. A tasting of many of the herbs along with a few easy-to-prepare recipes is included in this talk.
